Sea to Sky Soils is a leading organics recycling and composting operation serving British Columbia’s Sea to Sky corridor from its facility near Pemberton. Bioworks, together with its affiliate BuildWorks, has worked with Sea to Sky Soils through multiple phases of expansion since 2013, providing comprehensive facility design, equipment supply, and construction services to support the development of a high-capacity, modern composting operation. The most recent expansion increased processing capacity by approximately 25,000 tonnes per year and incorporated a MegaDome® compost building, precast concrete compost bunkers, integrated AirFloor® aeration and drainage systems, aeration blowers, automated controls, and on-site power generation. Together, these systems were designed to provide practical, reliable, and effective odor-controlled composting while supporting Sea to Sky Soils’ continued growth.
